How do I join the beta?

Head to the join page, install on iPhone or Android, create your free account, then email [email protected] for your invite code.

What does the invite code do?

It unlocks HelioMaps Pro for the field test (detailed terrain maps, the 3D map, BLM & public land, forest roads and trails, live location sharing, track recording, waypoint import/export, map sharing & co-editing, cloud sync, 1,000 cloud-backed photos, Best blinds, route and ranch overview reports (4 a month in all, refilled each month from the day you redeem it), no ads). The full list is on the pricing page. Redeem it under Account ▸ Redeem a code in the app after you sign in.

Using the app

Does it work with no signal?

Yes. Download your ground while you have a connection (the Offline button on the map) and the map, your pins and trails keep working deep in the timber. Offline maps use USGS imagery or topo maps, and wind shows the last forecast you loaded.

How do I add my property lines?

Open a ranch, tap the parcel/property tools, and build your boundary from the parcels or draw it by hand. In Texas and North Carolina, zoom in far enough and neighboring property lines and owners appear.

Why don't I see property lines when zoomed out?

When there are too many parcels in view we hide the lines to keep the map readable, zoom in and they'll draw in.

Do my pins and photos sync?

With Pro, your pins, boundaries, trails and photos back up to the cloud and sync across your devices. On Free, your map stays on your phone, except what you publish with its public web link.

Account & data

How do I delete my account or data?

You can delete individual ranches and pins in the app. To delete your whole account and cloud data, tap Delete account on the Account screen, or email [email protected] and we'll take care of it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
